TAIGA KASAI
Collectors have graded 37,384 copies of Taiga Kasai's 14 tracked cards. The catalog gems at 61.5 percent, a high rate that usually reflects modern print quality more than easy grading. Submissions are running hot right now: 8,094 new gradings in the last 30 days.
Hype meter
recomputed every refresh, moves with each new set8,094 fresh slabs in 30 days is doing most of the lifting here. Submission volume is weighted hardest because it costs money, and this catalog is drawing plenty of it. 4 of their singles passed the price consistency screen this week at -5 percent on average, so the heat reading is live data, not vibes. Nobody on the swept forums said the name in the last two weeks. The meter treats that silence honestly, so the reading rests on the market components alone.

THE ARTIST
Taiga Kasai came up through the contest pipeline too: a Tama Art University graduate working as an illustrator and graphic designer, he took First Runner-Up honors for Japan in the 2022 Pokemon TCG Illustration Contest, and official card work followed.
His tracked catalog is small and recent, which is exactly what makes it worth watching: every new set is a meaningful percentage of his printed career.
