What this site is
Pokemon Predictor is a set of free utilities for people who treat Pokemon cards as an asset class. The data behind it is the same data the paid platforms sell: TCGplayer market prices, PSA population reports, and per card grading outcomes. The difference is what gets filtered out. Single sale artifacts, stale price rows, and listings contaminated by foreign product routinely show up as fake "movers" on other trackers. Here they are screened out before you see them, and the methodology page documents every rule.

Common questions
Where does the data come from?
Prices are TCGplayer aggregate market data through tcgcsv, snapshotted daily. Populations and gem rates are PSA population data tracked by GemRate. Graded price references come from PriceCharting and are labeled where shown. The methodology page documents every screen applied on top.
Why does your movers list disagree with other sites?
Most trackers publish raw percentage moves in a sales weighted average, which surfaces single sale artifacts and stale rows as fake movers. Here a move must show agreement across market, low, and mid figures, on a row that is actually refreshing, before it appears. Around three quarters of raw top gainers fail that screen on a typical day.

How often does the site update?
Price snapshots land daily and population data refreshes on its own cycle; every page rebuilds from the newest data on each site update, including all 242 artist pages.
