Hype meter
recomputed every refresh, moves with each new set102 fresh slabs in 30 days is doing most of the lifting here. Submission volume is weighted hardest because it costs money, and this catalog is drawing plenty of it. Nobody on the swept forums said the name in the last two weeks. The meter treats that silence honestly, so the reading rests on the market components alone. For a catalog that only started in 2023, sitting at #144 of 254 is the part worth watching.

THE ARTIST
Shimaris Yukichi draws cute, round Pokemon on simple backgrounds, self describes the style as cute and cluttered, and literally wrote the book on it: a published guide to drawing deformed characters. The card game debut came in 2024 with an Ekans in Temporal Forces, and secret rares like Team Rocket's Meowth from Destined Rivals followed fast.
A true multi format creator represented by the R11R agency, Yukichi also does animation, music video backgrounds, live painting, and merchandise, including work for Nijisanji and LINE stickers.
