THE ARTIST
Jerky, also known as Banana Jerky, was born in Saga in 1988, lives in Nara, and paints in vivid color blocks so distinctive that the debut card, the Lumineon V from Crown Zenith's Galarian Gallery, looks almost stitched from fabric. It became one of the gallery's signature cards, and the Pidgeot ex line from Obsidian Flames and Dragapult ex from Prismatic Evolutions kept the momentum.
At 43 cards and counting, plus work on Pokemon Sleep and official Card Art Walk events, Jerky has moved from newcomer to fixture faster than almost anyone in the 2023 class.
